Now in its eleventh year, the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 is a program that recognises and profiles Australian technology companies, public or private, that have achieved the fastest rates of annual revenue growth (based on percentage revenue growth over the last three years).

"Particularly impressive across all of this year's winning technology companies is the way they have all capitalised on opportunities in a somewhat cautious market and strategically prepared themselves for improved economic conditions," said Joshua Tanchel, leader of the Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 Program. Total revenue for this year's Fast 50 winners was approximately $2.2 billion, up from $1.8 billion in 2010.
"Nearly half of the winning companies classify themselves as 'internet' businesses, which is representative of the shift of broader technology companies to being more focused on online commerce," he said.
