Adobe LiveCycle delivers rich personalized PDF documents for individual customers combining data, images, audio & video for print or secure electronic distribution. Electronic PDF documents can by eForms also allowing 2-way communication in a single document.

C h a l l e n g e

In a world of reduced face-to-face interaction, written communications between an organization and its customers are often the only interface. Making it more important than ever to ensure communications are not only accurate, but personalized and compliant.

Communications can be either standardized and structured (e.g. Invoices) or ad-hoc and personalized (e.g. Letters) or a combination of the two (e.g. Bank Statements with Marketing Messages). And customers have varying preferences for receiving an organization’s messages by print or email.

Traditional document correspondence provides a one-way mechanism for communication. Organizations attempt to engage customers by including flyers etc. with mail. But electronic communication offers the ability to have an engaging 2-way communication interaction with customers.

Leveraging the power of the PDF and other print formats such as Postscript, Adobe LiveCycle ES provides three solutions for customized correspondence generation:

  • Ad-Hoc Custom Correspondence – Combining document templates with standardized text and freeform paragraphs on-demand;
  • Document Generation – Merging document templates with data and customized messages/images to create personalized documents;
  • High Volume Printing – Merging document templates with data at very high volumes for mass generation of personalized documents.

LiveCycle ES provides a workflow solution for managing the creation of customized documents as well as the ability to deliver the output to a printer, or safely and securely to an email address or website and then store the document in a document/content management system. Delivery of correspondence as PDF enables 2-way communication with customers.
